Night and Day

I will wait

Wait until the sun comes up
Before I unravel myself from this land
Wrapped in warmth and visions
Filled with trails and rivers of last night's dreams
Walking the sands and seas
Destinations never seen
Lined with life’s colour beams

I’ll lay here in the darkness
Where visions stay strong and true
I’ll lay here in the warmth
Amongst the spring and summer of sleep
Until I rise to walk the winter trails of the seas
Blustering and raw; dark and deep

Both night and day sanctioning my sight
